Hey, I am Anurag – Berlin based lead product designer & audiophile.
From restaurant tech to telecom to enterprise software — I've led design at the intersection of complex systems and real human needs. I work best where ambiguity is high and the stakes are real.

Embedding in the customer’s world to gauge opportunities.
Leading discussions with prototypes, not figma.

Building artefacts for alignment and creating product direction.
Writing guidance and mentoring senior and junior designers.
Selected case studies
In their words
Thanks to Anurag we stitched a super compelling story and a rich prototype for our investors at the Capital market's day in NYC. This concept came from his understanding of user challenges and he advocated for it to be added to his team's roadmap.
I couldn't do my work without him, the way he shapes products and validates his hypotheses is something I've valued a lot over the years. His work has positively impacted users and business metrics.
Anurag brings his true self to the team and his approach to design is remarkable. He brings the entire team to the same page by telling them stories of real problems faced by people, then the team is aligned towards what's to be built and why.
He directly up-leveled 4 designers around him and took responsibility of their work while presenting to key STC stakeholders.
It was great to work with Anurag. He was a partner in all aspects — a mediator of business & user requirements. He led workshops and brought multiple leaders towards a common direction and drove design direction that kept things simple.
He's super thorough, detailed and nudges us all to deliver higher quality.
At the core, I am a problem-solver & a systems-thinker. I embed myself in a team like an in-house detective.
I am a big fan of the ‘build-the-thing-right approach’. I work with leadership to understand and define strategy. Driven by partnership I shape problems with all my design partners. I bring people along with me and consistently peel back layers of design work so there is no ambiguity or lack of feedback.
Once I have created a vision for the product I bring stakeholders together and deliver it with a pragmatic approach complimenting my peers, backed by qual & quant data.
With 12 years in design I have launched 20+ products & elevated experience for people across various contexts . I’ve been fortunate to have worked with first time founders & CEOs as well as seasoned VPs and directors.
Waiting for briefs is detrimental - so I write my own. I identify where the product is misaligned with user behavior, build the case, and bring leadership in to act on it.
Getting to launch is the easy part. I track what ships, measure whether it moved anything, and come back with a point of view on what's next. I work with engineers until the detail is right — not until the handoff is done. I document patterns so the work compounds across teams and the org, not just projects.
Good work leaves people better than you found them. I run crits, write PRDs, reframe roadmap items when the team is optimizing the wrong thing, and prototype early to force a reaction. I measure success by how the people around me are building after we've shipped.
